To all those New England Patriot defenders who say, Hey, they killed the Colts 45-7. Plus, they outscored them 28-0, AFTER the questionable footballs were discovered and not used. Deflated balls dont mean squat. Get over it, please explain these mind-boggling (and some might say incriminating) stats: Over the last five years, the NFL average for total number of fumbles per total number of plays run was 105. For those who went to public school, that means that NFL teams, on average, ran 105 plays between fumbles. Most teams were within 21 of that number. For the Patriots, that number was an astonishing 187 plays between fumbles! Anyone whos ever tossed a football knows that a softer ball is easier to throw, catch and hold onto than a harder one. Not only that, but the Patriots 187 players-per-fumble ratio over the last five years was the BEST of ANY team in the NFL for ANY five-year span of time over the last 25 years!
