To all those people who think farmers have it all let me remind you of a few facts. Back in the 1950s farmers were offered $6/bu for 1CWRS (#1 Canadian western red spring wheat) and todays value sit at $5.88/bu. We as a farmer are forced to produce more to make ends meat. By this yes we invest in technology to maximize our efficiencys to give us our best profit. So yes some things cost a lot more than an average persons salary, but when you spend up to 20hrs/day on machine, why shouldnt our so called offices be as comfortable as the average 8-5 average joe??????
