To all who have sent prayers and have asked on how Nic is doing. He was released from University Hospital at around 5 or 6 am. He is home and hurting not for the injuries but for the loss of someone that he became close to. A cousin/ friend. Nic has a long journey ahead of him. But as a parent his friend I will do my best to help him through this. Those who know Nic know that he is a type of person that would have given his life so someone else could live. Again I say Thank You to all who have shown concern, care and warmth towards my son. Please continue to send prayers to the Cruz family for their loss.
