To any of my friends that live in Duncanville: Our friends, the Dotsons ( Dr. Dotson)are in danger of having their property broken up. They have a secluded, private property that the city is trying to break up in order to connect Wintergreen off of Main St behind Costco. They have worked so hard over the years to beautify the property and are always opening up their home with great hospitality to their church youth and others as well. Please consider helping them if you are able. Here is a letter from Lori: On Monday night, the Duncanville City Council voted 4-3 to put Wintergreen Road through our homestead. Their plan is to invoke eminent domain against us because we have told them that our property, nor any part of our property is for sale. If we are able to collect 1500 signatures from registered voters in Duncanville, the city council has to repeal their decision or send it to a city wide vote. If you or anyone you know is a registered voter in Duncanville and willing to sign the petition, would you please email or call me? I can bring the petition to you to sign or meet you somewhere.
