To assist my yearbook staff, I decided to scan in the senior pictures for approximately 70 pages today. I would normally make them do this job, but since their insane adviser set the deadline and the senior page preview night only two weeks apart, I figured they need all the help they can get. Besides, this activity provided something to do instead of interrupting my student interns lessons. (If you havent noticed, Im a control freak.) All I could think of was the germs being transferred from 70 families to my hands; in fact, I germ-xed after each period. Suffice it to say my OCD was in overdrive all day. This is just another reason I believe teachers should be mandated to wear gloves, and possibly a mask, to school. :)
