To be a part of the Melki Tzedek priesthood you have to die to self. 1Co_15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption Joh 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. Only when you die to self, the life of the King of Righteousness can be imparted in you. You resurrect with Him and become an integral part of Him. This is why even if no one is greater than John the Baptist among the born of women, the least in the kingdom is greater than the baptist because after you die to self, the life of the King of Righteousness is imparted and He is greater than the baptist. All through the scriptures, the meme of dying and resurrecting is disclosed. For example this is present in: Isaac’s akeda, Daniel in Lion’s den, 3 Jewish lads in fiery furnace, the sign of Jonah, the baptism, the crucifixion and resurrection all of these show a picture of self denial, trust & death & Resurrection. Abraham died to self when he offered Isaac in Gen 22:16-17 it is then that YHWH swears with an oath and not in Gen 12. In Gen 12 YHWH makes an unconditional promise but doesnt swear with an oath. Heb 6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Joh_8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Yahushua saith unto them, If ye were Abrahams children, ye would do the works of Abraham. What are the works of Abraham? Believe and die to self! Furthermore, when the generation of rebellious men of war went to Padan, Zin and Qodesh Barnea, which is probably near Petra, they went to die. At least 1.5 million died over 38 years in this same location. They spent 38 continuous years at Qodesh: Deut: 1:46; 2:14 The key is to view the entire section between Num 12:16 - 20:1 as an overview of the major events of the entire 38 years at Qodesh. It begins in 12:16 where they jump from Hazeroth forward 18 stops to Qodesh. This overview ends at 20:1, where it recounts they came to Qodesh in the first month after leaving Sinai (11 months later). Aaron and Miriam died and were buried not far from Petra. Moses died and was only shown the land from Mt. Nebo. Nebo means oracle, announcement and prophet in all the Semitic language spectrum. Moses was buried at Nebo but yet he is seen alive in the Mt. of Transfiguration together with EliYAH and Yahushua. So Moses entered the land after all. Run away from teachers that promise you to be a part of the Melki Tzedek priesthood without the required OLAH (aka living sacrifice) of denying self. Luk_9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Mat_7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mat_10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Mat_16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
