To be clear, I posted the petition about Brenda Hodges plagiarism not because I believe it will work in getting her resigned, but to show that there is an overwhelming amount of people in Mansfield who do not believe that she is an adequate superintendent. Every signature is sending a pre-written letter to her email. This is not one large complaint I decided to rally people for that goes nowhere; this is a small step in getting peoples voices heard, and if nothing is done on the school committees end, then I will be scheduling a town meeting to discuss further. I utilized Facebook because I am wise enough to know that is the best way to get something publicized quickly. We are students, graduates, current or past residents of Mansfield. It is better to post a small petition online than to do nothing at all. Our voices need to be heard. Again, this is about how Ms. Hodges does not seem to place a value on education or academic honesty. Without these two components, the public school system in Mansfield will be in deep trouble.
