To be tried by the guilt at the whim of social dictation is to abandon self. I refuse questioning until shown the definition of this idea freedom of expression. In writing this, is the exercising freedom of speech, the lesser of the two freedoms, for actions speak louder than words. This debate far exceeds the limits of the physicality of exchanges, between the antagonist and the antagonised, every action has a reaction. This is about a principle and a right of expectancy, it is about the defining of borders and standards across one board. Many opinions are formed and views held without the time to understand what has taken place. Life in a democracy must connote Oil simply does not mix with water, nor should it in instances. (God(A) forbid the Colonialists of yesteryear seek integration with those they sought to conquer and sap). To cry freedom comes with responsibility, in being able to look at the action, which led to the reaction, and nothing more than that. To cry freedom is to be inconsequential of the finer details, to avoid the clamour to point fingers and raise voices, impartiality is the true freedom to assess a situation for what it is. The ink on the tombstones, nor aura of the crime scene are even dry. With respect to all the families involved they humanise this event with the grief inherited, and the time it shall take to heal. Where does your freedom end, and mine begin in the infinite freedom that is expression. Is such freedom devoid of the rights to exercise restraint, is such freedom above consideration to offence. It seems so. In the pursuit of such freedom the concept of taste has no place, yet reciprocity in (good) taste or not, is irrevocably cognizant in every nuance of our being and interaction. There is no consideration for taste, so there is no democracy. Democracy claims the listening to every voice regardless of the native tongue. The concept of an infinite freedom of expression is naturally an affront and pending threat to the notion of restraint and to refrain. This concept is a thorn in the heart of democracy in choosing a pace of life with which you may be uncomfortable. It is undemocratic, posing duress upon others, to accept the notion of an endless freedom. The standard identity of which lies hidden in the midst of absent defining borders. Which is to imply do without consideration and need for better judgement in the name freedom of expression. Nothing on this Earth let alone the notion of freedom(s) as used here can be infinite. For them to be so is affirmation, Government be not!, fully in control. All freedom reaches the point of intervention. Either Divinely to guide from err, or by the reprimand, admonition and punishment of the Law (of Men). Again, The Question simply is where does your freedom end and mine begin, without this knowledge its inevitable we crash and burn. This is not the first time, 200 people were caught in the upheaval and killed the last time, sadly nothing was learnt . . . I hope, but doubt this will be the last. Freedom causing death is flawed containing an injustice. In Summary, Guilt lay in Irresponsible actions, disregarding previous outcomes and acting in challenge. Guilt lay in hatred borne of tragic ignorance and the underhandedness of authorities (which is ongoing). P.s One thing easy to do is offend and hurt, there are too many acid tests to mention in pushing the bounds of acceptability and finding the defining lines behind the cry of freedom . . . . This I fear will be a rude awakening . . . . . . . Amongst many onlookers Charlie will be made a martyr. I want to test his ideals & have my reservations alleviated.
