To carb or Not to carb? (go to 6:20 and listen to a wise man!) Intermittent fast during the day ...NO CALORIES BEFOR WORKOUT! why? the 4.1.1 on insulin: keep you insulin levels low(balanced). Insulin is anabolic and cause cells to grow, but its not picky! insulin will shuttle into fat cells or muscle! so keep it low before workout...boost it after workout with a high carb high protein meal. this will boost insulin due to carb ingestion transport the energy to where its needed...muscle cells! they have been depleted of the muscle glycogen stores (well if you have done a proper workout they will be) so need the energy to repair and grow!
