To clarify............Recently weve been hit with an abundance of phone calls, emails, and messages about this years EPE/Graceland Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest during Elvis week in Memphis. Rumors have been circulating that the EAS Band will not be performing for the event. Unfortunately, it is with great sadness for us to say it is not a rumor, but in fact, the truth. EPE has decided to go another direction this year and use another band. I wish I could tell you exactly why this decision was made, but my thoughts are only assumptions as I was not given a specific reason other than they (EPE) did not want to get in the middle of a band conflict. While it is true that we have gone through a transistion, those of you who have seen us know that we are still the top Elvis tribute band with a renewed energy and our new additions have made us better than ever! Wed like to thank ALL of you for your continued support. FYI...........The EAS Band WILL be performing at several venues in Memphis during Elvis week. We hope that you will continue to support the tribute artists and the EAS Band at our shows to keep the music and memory of Elvis Presley alive and WELL!! Long live the King!
