To ensure I retain my knowledge and thinking skills of Digital - TopicsExpress

To ensure I retain my knowledge and thinking skills of Digital Forensics and Information Assurance, I examined everyday technology and looked at ways they could be improved. One of the things the everyday user has to use at one point in time is a computer protection software against some form of malware, viruses, or network security risks. I believe it is very easy for users to just install software from companies like McAfee, or Eset that may come with computers when you purchase them. Today I would like to focus on a software that came with the purchase of my Asus Z97 AR motherboard, Norton Antivirus 2014. Now as I am not a malware expert, I had to consult sites that seemed most informed on the matter. I came across the website PC Magazine. As a student of Digital Forensics and one day Information Assurance, what is important to me in a security software review is the testing methodology that is used. Here is the website with the product review: pcmag/article2/0,2817,2424097,00.asp?fullsite=true Here is the site with PC Magazines testing methodology: pcmag/article2/0,2817,2382605,00.asp
