To everyone: Happy New years day. The reason I joined Facebook was so that my mother could keep tabs on me once Carol and I moved to Florida because my weekly phone calls wasnt gonna fill the void. My mother took it kinda hard when we moved down here from Maryland. My mother never joined Facebook. She never read one post or saw one video. Those of you who have enjoyed my rantings or got some kind of textual healing from my posts can thank my mom, Elaine Fenderson. My mom died early this morning. Shed been battling cancer for quite some time and her death was expected. I thank you now, in advance, for any condolences. As far as any arrangements go, I will post that once it is finalized. One thing that we do know is that in lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. I learned a lot from my mother. Mostly from accident. She wasnt exactly a hands on parent. She allowed me to make my own mistakes if not my own decisions. For example, I know not to mix brown liquor and pot; which I did one new years eve forty one years ago. I saw sixteen Pointer Sisters that evening and woke up with a hogs skull under my bed. Thanks mom. RIP.
