To fly on this day of all days is causing me to remember ... The frantic radio announcenents during the drive to work; James Rushing giving Marty and I an update while we were meeting at SBCIS; turning up our nascent video service so our staff could be updated and, sadly, watch the Fall; a quick walk to Church; giving blood; and the huddling, whispering, almost secretive quiet in the hallways, the market, my home. And the tale began to be told. And we knew....we KNEW....as one people, one Nation, we would prevail! To those who suffered and died on That Day, we remember. To those who fight the good fight we support you. To those who lead we pray for you. To those who will destroy us, of any stripe, in any land, we will come for you. God Bless America!
