To have a friend, who has the balls to disagree with your opinions, or even someone to point out your mistakes in life, is much needed.. How can a man grow by thinking everything he does or says is ok at any given point.?? A real friend is there for you through thick and thin. A real friend will stop you from hurting yourself in any way by pointing out the bad in you. none of us are perfect thats for darn sure, so the need for a true friend is indeed a necessity.. Constructive criticism can only make you a better man.. You can either grow from the honesty presented to you by the person pointing out the issues, or you can be ignorant and selfish to disagree with them, which will only add more problems to your life.. the things we generally dont want to do or the things we dont like to hear, are generally what dictate or provide us with our own success. I always tell my students this in class and even friends.. I need those people in my life. The friends who water you, are the friends who want to see you grow. There is no watering where there isnt development. To grow, we must trust in one another and be thankful for the honesty given through the constructive criticism. I want to thank my Sensei for being my truest friend.. That man will chew me out for hours if needed to be, even when I may think Im doing ok.. I listen and I say thank you. Now its up to me to grow or not.. Unfortunately we are not like plants.. Someone cant just water you down and expect you to grow like most crops.. The water man is the care giver,information provider, and motivational character in your life to push you to be more valuable as a person or better at whatever it is that you do. Thats the water.. Its up to us to grow. We ourself have to to listen, learn, then Push forward towards growing to be a better man. I love my Sensei from the bottom of my heart. Him, my father, and my mother have made me who u am. Sensei is my best friend. He has never pointed me in the wrong direction, and he has never been a dishonest man of my actions. A true friend indeed. Loosing him would be tragic in my life. I want to thank anyone who has given me advice in life, and who has actually put efforts into making me a better man. Thats what life is about.. Family honor and courage will take you very far in life.. Play beyond those boundaries and expect nothing but problems.
