To help make health care coverage more affordable, the health reform law provides tax credits to help certain people and their families purchase coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace. This week, we learned that about 71,000 West Virginians will be eligible for these tax credits beginning in 2014 -- so if you arent eligible for Medicare or Medicaid, and you make between 100 percent and 400 percent of the federal poverty level, you may qualify. For a family of four, that’s between $23,550 and $94,200. This calculator can help you determine if you are eligible.
