To honor my father-in-law, Jerry Kurfman, who has battled ALS with so much courage and strength for many years, and my mother-in-law, Frances, who has been amazingly and tirelessly dedicated in her care for him, I nominated myself for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I cannot express enough how much I admire the two of them for the strength, courage, devotion and dedication they have shown for as long as Ive known them. You guys are an amazing example to follow, and you have my eternal respect and admiration! Im now passing the torch by nominating Lisa Erickson, Mike Liesman, and Greg Liesman. Typically, the challenge requires being answered in 24 hours unless you donate $100 to the ALS Association (visit alsa.org or The ALS Association - St. Louis Regional Chapter). I know you all are very busy, so Ill cut you some slack and give you through the upcoming weekend to answer the challenge and pass it on! Game on!
