It was the Children of Israel at the time of Prophet Jeremiah, that they worship the idol, goddess queen of heaven which is THE MOON GODDESS, thats they consider her as their goddess - In Jer. 7:18, CAKES WERE MADE & SHAPED LIKE THE MOON TO WHICH THEY WERE OFFERED. PHOENICIANS CALLED THE MOON ASHTORETH OR ASTARTE, THE WIFE OF BAAL OR MOLECH, WHO WAS CALLED THE KING OF HEAVEN. THE MALE & FEMALE PAIR OF DEITIES SYMBOLIZES THE GENERATIVE POWERS OF NATURE; HENCE, THE INTRODUCTION OF PROSTITUTION IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH WORSHIP. THE BABYLONIANS WORSHIPPED THE GODDESS AS MYLITTA (generative). THE MOON BECAME THE SYMBOL OF FEMALE PRODUCTIVENESS,AND ALL WOMEN CONVERTS WERE SUPPOSED TO SUBMIT TO IMMORALITY IN THIS WORSHIP, AT LEAST ONCE. I hear the Catholics calling Virgin Mary the Queen of Heaven but Its not Virgin Mary that is referred to as the Queen of heaven in the Holy Bible bcos she was not born then in the old testament, so dont think abt that - Thats why we can now clearly see that the Catholics are also worshipping a different kind of god not Jesus Christ even though they say Honour to Mary & Glory to Jesus, its all cover-ups. No wonder their mode of worship & what they worship is not too different the muslims; the muslims pray towards the rising & setting of the sun & moon, while the catholics pray to the Queen of heaven which is the Moon-goddess the Children of Israel worshipped thousands of years ago. God warned us severely & severally that WE MUST NOT bow down to or worship any image of beast or any created thing (moon, stars, planets, animals or whatsoever) but to THE CREATOR OF THE HEAVEN & EARTH ALONE. The Moon, stars, the galaxies were all created by God, therefore, we must not worship them. Anyone that continue to rebel against Gods command will end up in Hell Fire. THERE IS NEED FOR REPENTANCE & TURNING TO THE TRUE GOD OF HEAVEN, THERE IS NO OTHER WAY THAT MEN OR WOMEN SHD BE SAVED EXCEPT THROUGH THE NAME OF JESUS NOT THE MOON, SUN, STARS OR THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN (VIRGIN MARY AS THE CATHOLICS CLAIMED)
