To make a resolution means to make a firm decision to do or not to do something. The word firm means solid and unyielding. It means unlikely to change. Understand, the best decision you can make in life today and every day is to put God first. If you have not done so already, receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Lay down self and ask Him to rule and reign in your life. Commit or recommit if necessary to live your life Gods way. Make a firm decision today. Its time for you to arise and shine for God. God called you, the question is will you answer His call right here and right now! Take a moment and pray this prayer with me: Father Im a sinner and I come to You now asking for Your forgiveness. I have not done everything right. I have made many mistakes and may still make some mistakes. But right here and right now, I am asking You to take control of my life. Father I believe that Jesus was born of a virgin. I believe that Jesus died on the cross. I believe that Jesus arose on the third day. I believe that you sent your Son so that I could be saved. Father You said in Romans 10:9-10 that if I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that you raised Jesus from the dead, I would be saved. Father I believe and I speak forth your work right now. Father right now I receive Jesus as my Lord and my Savior. Father I receive the finished work of the cross and I commit to doing Your Word and Your will for my life. Father help me and I ask that you strengthen me where I am weak. Father continue to show me Your way so that I may be a light that shines bright for You in Jesus name amen.
