To me it does not matter where they came from, what faith they had or which political situation they grew up in - it was not their choice anyway. They were children! In the year 2014 we still do not solve conflicts in a civilized way. We kill. We kill the innocent. We watch them get killed. As if there was no other way. If we do not protect and care about the children, what does that say about us? I feel like I am the one holding a gun. I am sick and tired of all the hate and violence around the world. I am ashamed and angry when our politicians place money above lives, power above peace, greed above solidarity. We are waiting for a change, not realizing that WE need to change!!! They are children! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR TAKING THEIR LIVES!
