To my Christian friends, especially leaders, the great question facing the Church today is this: If you rolled away the mainstream culture from everyday church, what would be left? If you subtracted self and possessions and brand and technology etc etc, would the faith, in our form exist at all? Jesus spoke to culture, but He was a misfit to both the religious establishment and the socioeconomic and political system of His day. He was Truth and they did not know Him. So, is the Bride her grooms, or is she of this world?
