To my FFA family, seniors and others, with the season of jacket - TopicsExpress

To my FFA family, seniors and others, with the season of jacket retiring and officer farewells upon us, I just wanted to take the time and share these gems with you all and offer a word of advice. From the moment that you say that last closing ceremony to the moment that you feel that corduroy leave your shoulders, step back and remember this, whyll your time to go to contests and be in ag classes may have come to an end, your time in the National FFA Organization has just begun. Some of you like me will take on the challenge to educate future generations of agriculturists whereas some of you will choose different paths entirely. Regardless of the path you take, the tools that have been provided for you through this organization will stick with you in every part of your life. You will tell people the crazy stories that your ag teacher told you or some of the embarrassing judging trip fiascos but along the way without even realizing it you are spreading the word about agriculture. So in closing, yes it will be hard when you walk down the aisle or stairs and unzip then hang up your jacket for the last time. You will cry but then you will laugh and look back at all the wonderful times that you had and all of the great people that you met along the way. So hold your head up high and remember those words that we all have stitched into our seams.. I believe in the future of agriculture.
