To my PIC and Best Friend of AMFT, happy 12th year of the most exciting and fun times in my life! 12 years ago in the August-ish time frame we met at TSR Texas Ski Ranch where I was slinging Gatorade in the snack shack. You came up, we flirted, my heart raced. I waited for you at the end of the day before I left hoping to catch you walking out. You never came in and that was actually my last day working there. I was sad because I figured I may never see you again, knowing you were a soldier at Fort Hood. 2 months later in October our worlds collided again at Waketoberfest! (thank you Stone Slade Hunter McDonald and Billy Garcia for putting the event on). I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw you on a boat tied up several boats down. I immediately grabbed 2 waters (for some reason not a beer, LOL) leaped across several boats probably with out asking permission on any of them in haste to get there, and offered you one as an opening line. Wow, was I smooth, Ha!! You immediately remembered me. We didnt leave each others side for the entire rest of the weekend. The next weekend I stood you up! (sorrrrryyyyy :/ ). The following weekend was Halloween where you took me to meet your friends in Dallas, that was it. Deal sealed and we were forever in love. You are in South Africa, I am in Austin and I miss you tremendously. Cant wait for Thursday when I get to wrap my arms around you again! Heres to the next 12 years of fun and exploration!
