To my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, to those that - TopicsExpress

To my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, to those that struggle in their walk with the LORD: until you understand the reality of the spiritual realm, you shall be vulnerable to demonic offenses. In appearance and feeling, it is as though the children of God either do not believe in spiritual warfare, they do not think it affects them, or they do not take it seriously. Let me assure you, it is as real as the ground beneath you, as the LORD above you, and as Christ inside you. Recently I have gone on a Christian offensive while attending summer school. Whilst there, God commanded me to speak to a particular classmate in class who delves in spiritualistic rituals. For a week after hearing from God, distraction after distraction caught my eyes. Then guilt set in for my disobedience, and then I started to plan to talk to him. Out loud I would walk through possible conversation starters, how to approach him, and I tried to listen to God for a specific message He wanted my classmate to hear. The next day was Thursday, I showed up to class ready and waiting, he didn’t come. Friday his sit was again empty. Guilt visited me again over the weekend. I worried that maybe because of my delayed obedience time had run out. Monday came, class was cancelled. Tuesday was test day, I finished first, so I waited outside in an open area directly by the path he took after class (he took the same route after class every day). Reading a devotional and bible while I waited, the wind suddenly increased at a phenomenal rate and blew something into my eye. Although it felt as if a needle was jabbing again and again into my eye, I didn’t want to leave for fear of missing him. Worry gave way to pain and I dashed inside a nearby building to find a mirror. Less than 5 minutes later I came back and waited for over an hour for him, well after class had ended. 5 minutes was all it had taken for him to walk by. Demonic forces will do anything and everything it takes to keep u from those who do not believe in God. They will distract you and the people God wants to speak to through you. DON”T LET THEM! Do not voice your offense plans out loud: they can’t read your mind, but they sure can hear you. Do not stop praying! Demons cannot stand being around you when you are praising God, thanking God, or are getting close to God. Do not worry about the past! Guilt is a lovely tool that the enemy likes to use on obedient believers. Focus on God! If you are focused on God, then nothing can distract you. For all of you who struggle through battle exhausted and lonely; YOU ARE NOT ALONE! To find other warriors and obedient believers all we have to do is ask around. There is always a believer under attack as well, because all believers and non-believers are under attack. -IJM
