To my friends in the Mt. Morris area..if you notice a red pickup truck with a damaged front end parked in or around this area, please go to my page and private message me. On Tuesday afternoon around 4pm, I was coming home and was hit broadside by this pickup truck. There was a man driving and he had a woman passenger. He was exiting route 79 N. at exit one in Mount Morris and ran the stop sign at the bottom of the exit ramp, hit my vehicle and did not stop. The Mt. Morris police were behind me when this accident happened and followed the truck, got the license plate number, traced it and found that it was an illegal plate. He also lost sight of the red truck, so its obvious that the driver may have been local and knew the area well enough to get off Bald Hill Road and hide. The Mount Morris fire department responded to my accident, stabilized me until S.W. ambulance service arrived and transported me to Ruby Mem Hosp.. Thankfully I received minor injuries, was kept overnight and released the next day. I would appreciate any information that may help us find this person that left the scene of this accident....
