To my friends in the States: I dug up an awesome recipe that someone gave me 25 years ago, called Spiced Pretzels. But I cant buy Orville Redenbachers Popcorn Oil or Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Dressing, in England. So when I was in the States, I bought some and brought it here. You have GOT to try this! Here is what it looks like, and the recipe to follow! 1 bag pretzels (generic, broken, small, whatever)--about 1 pound Mix 3/4 cup Orville Redenbacher popcorn oil with 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Dressing Add Dill to taste (at least 1 TBSP) Mix oil, ranch mix and dill. Pour over pretzels in a large roaster or pan. Toss till well-coated. Soak for one hour, mixing from time to time. Bake at 250 degrees for 30 minutes or till done. I would recommend 1/2 cup oil, and bake only 15 minutes or so. The recipe did not specify dill weed or dill SEED, but I have had both. I think the dill SEED is stronger and may be better. Not sure. Store in air-tight tin.
