To my market basket family. To tell you the truth, the stress is weighing heavy on my family. Im at home with our three kids while my fiance (a warehouse worker) is at the rally in Tewkesbury. He is along side his boss, Paul st. Jean, his friend (also a warehouse worker) Mario and a bunch of others he knows and works with. At six this morning, tommy woke me up saying there was an offer from Artie to buy. My cabinets are empty along with the fridge. I have one diaper for my son left and my sister and brother in law bought food for our kids. This was starting to scare us, the reality of living this way until tommy ( Thomas Shields) could find another job if we couldnt have our market basket life back. This scared tommy more than ever because hes been walking into the warehouse since he was 3 years old with his father working there (he will be 40 years old next year). My hearts go to all the employees from the stores to the 8 great hard working men, that were let go. My father in law, Tom shields (retired Lawrence distribution center manager) and mother in law Marsha Shields support you 100% . Now lets be louder than ever before and pray that this coming to a beautiful end. My loyalty will always be with you Artie T and my market basket family. Much love to you all!
