To my non-comedian friends, this is comedian Sammy Obeid who I first met when he rocked my little FML open mic audience of 4 people at Hukilau restaurant in SF 2-3 years ago and has been an inspiring elder peer in our comedy community ever since I started. Yesterday was day 998 which was his first appearance on Conan last night where regardless of what rich people records are in Guinness, Conan verbalized his 1000 Day record which legitimizes his feat to the comedy world as well as TV audiences.
