To piggyback off of a similar subject my aunt posted - lets give our children an opportunity to discover and grow within their external environment before we subject them to the addictive nature of technology. Television, iPads, computers, kindles, phones, learning technology - have them draw on a piece of paper, read a physical book, create worlds within worlds through outside play, build castles out of plastic cups, be the imaginative amazing human beings we know that they are...and all this can occur without *gasp* the Internet.
