To race with GNCC at Ironman: registration lines are long. I highly suggest you do it the evening before your race, if possible. Go to registration tent, get your AMA number if you need it. Know what class you are racing in before you get there. You are required by rules to race in GNCC what you race in any series, be it AMA sanctioned or not. When registering they will set you up with a transponder if you need to rent one. You will get helmet numbers, plus a colored sticker for row designation. Once you are registered, you go through tech. You need your transponder and helmet with the stickers applied. Starting line for your race will NOT be open until 30 minutes prior to race start time, so dont try to line up early...youll get sent away. When you hear Teenage Wasteland by The Who on the loudspeakers, its time to get your butt to the line and get ready to race!
