To reap, you have to sow. To qualify for an inheritance in a - TopicsExpress

To reap, you have to sow. To qualify for an inheritance in a wealthy fathers estate, you have to be (1) his intimate son and accurate, mature representative and (2) in His Will. The will is activated by the principle of death. The testator dies; also the beneficiary or heir dies to his own ambition and embraces the legacy and purpose of his father. Reaping requires sowing; accessing an inheritance requires a mature sonship identity. To reap you have to do; to inherit you have to be. Sowing and reaping will always persist in the earth, but there is a realm beyond that. Over the coming years we will see a subtle shift from sowing to inheritance. Even though we will always sow in obedience and so reap the attendant rewards, this will not be our primary reliance for breakthrough. This is because God is moving us into who we are in Christ as His sons (more consciously) in a bid to restore the fullness of His image and likeness in us. From the platform of a restored and mature sonship identity in Christ, we still sow, but we lay no great store upon the natural and inevitable power of this principle to generate a harvest. Rather, our motive in sowing would be to express our identity as sons who reflexively obey our Fathers voice and the principles of His Word. The subtle shift would be a movement away from a motive in obedience of accessing personal benefit, toward obedience, whos singular motive is to please the Heavenly Father, and so express our sonship in Him. #Firstborn #FirstbornSon #Son #Identity #Inheritance
