To reinvigorate the true meaning of the Thanksgiving holiday from the mainstream commercialized event that it has become, I will start a new tradition in my home next year. I will invite family and friends to dine with me, take part in a bountiful feast, drink, and converse. Afterwards, when they are at their weakest, I will kill them off one by one, steal their goods, and lay claim to their property and land. It will be what it used to be. Truly, on this day and every day, I am thankful for god, for he is my compass. I am thankful for the ridiculous and absurd things in the world that give me laughter, for they are my elixir, my ointment, and my medicine needed to survive. I am grateful for friends for they are the glue that adheres to me and keep me whole. And for family, for they are my purpose.
