To separate a thread and hopefully get at the bottom of something rather than a name calling exercise......if it is simply about the gear and techniques why not change this name to climbers of Queensland? This profession is about trees...every profession requires tools but it is a sad day when the focus of the industry become the tools that are used rather than the medium to be worked on....i specifically remember the last scalpel workshop for doctors and the time my mate went to a how to glue pvc conference for plumbers......everyone needs to get a little more tree based, after all that is your job!
