To soccer fans: My apologies for enjoying the world cup without being into soccer all of the time. I genuinely enjoy rooting for my country, the same way I do when the Olympics come around. I dont claim to be a swimming expert when Michael Phelps is tearing it up, and Im not claiming to be a soccer expert either. Why are soccer fans mad that people are interested in the World Cup? Im confused? I dont get mad when people that dont watch football root at the Superbowl party.
