To support the children of our community, Adena Health System - TopicsExpress

To support the children of our community, Adena Health System placed the winning bid for the Grand Champion Market hog at last night’s Ross County Fair Swine Auction. The $5,000 bid was made possible from donations by the physicians and providers of the Adena Medical Group (AMG). “This is a great opportunity for all of the providers in AMG to give back to those who choose us for their medical care,” said Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Fortney. “We want to make this a tradition throughout our service region, demonstrating Adena’s community support and appreciation for the people we are here to serve.” The Grand Champion hog was raised by 4th grader MaKayla Baxter, who is a member of the Buckskin Ramblers 4-H Club. The pig weighed in at 275 pounds.
