To the American Job Growth people: Allowing 12 million illegal aliens amnesty and instant citizenship will not help America. It will hurt our low income wage earners by adding 12 million uneducated low income wage earners to the pool. It is supply and demand. If you have an over supply of low wage workers, you dont have to pay more, you can pay less. If we are going to allow 1/3 of Mexico to immigrate here, why not just annex Mexico and get it over with? Carter thought he was going to fix immigration when he gave amnesty to 3 million illegals, did it? No, Reagan had to give amnesty to 3 million illegals. Did that fix it? No, Clinton had to give amnesty to another 3 million illegals. The Bushs did nothing and now Obama wants to do something for 12 million and blaming the Republicans for standing up to stop it. We have close to a million people who have been out of work for over a year and you want to add 12 million uneducated workers with low wage skills to that for votes?
