To the College Community: As part of our efforts to send, at minimum, a monthly update on campus conditions, below is a summary of upcoming construction impacts: Parking/Traffic Impacts • Saturday, 10/18 - Parking in the area between Sage Hall and Monument Hill will be off-line to allow for paint line striping. This parking will be restored by Sunday, 10/19. • Tuesday, 10/21 - Parking spaces at the north end of the parking area below Colston Hall will be off-line until approximately mid-December to allow for electric and telecom service connection upgrade. • Tuesday, 10/21 - The roadway in front of Language Hall, GML and Philosophy Hall will be closed for 1-2 days while design engineers inspect the roof of Havemeyer from a large lift. Recently Completed Work • The South Hall parking area has been repaved and restored to use. • South Road (south of Sage, Guggenheim and Bliss) excavation has been completed. Except for a section near Sage Hall, the road has been repaved and reopened. • The sidewalk and curb along Hall of Fame Terrace was replaced, and sidewalk and street parking are back in use. • The sidewalk and curb work across from Language Hall has been completed. Please pardon any inconveniences caused by these capital improvement projects. As you can see, visible and significant progress is being made, progress which would not have been possible without the ongoing support and cooperation of the campus community. Thank you.
