To the Craver Nation. What an incredible weekend of competition. The UNF team performed incredibly well. Starting in 47 th place on day two. Quickly proving their ability to be a dominating force taking over big names, Alabama, LSU, Florida Southern, Tuskegee & Auburn whom all started day two in the top 25. Day two, competitors endured a cross country course of over 14 miles, obstacles, land medical evacuation, river crossing, open water rescue, point navigation were the tangible.... Fatigue, blisters and abrasions, self doubt, critical thinking stations were the intangibles.... Both external and internal stressors forced our athletes to maintain composure in the face of adversity. Leaning on a systematic process that forces the very fiber of human spirit to empower our athletes to dig in and find a way to put one foot in front of the other. What Coach could ask for more? The official results have been computed. Only the top three performers were recognized today. 1. FSU 2. GEORGIA SOUTHERN 3. OLD MISS I know I have at least 1Georgia Southern fan in the Craver Nation. I have to tell you! Big things are shaping up for that school. Georgia Southern took 4 individual event first places and missed taking overall first place by the slimmest of margins. Great example of what good leadership brings to a once unknown program! The remaining results will be posted later next week.
