To the Dreamers - Today I was in the midst of planning a 5 year retreat for Stil Studio when it hit me...wow 5 years! When we first opened the studio, I had hoped but was not entirely convinced that we would make it. We opened in one of the worst recessions in history and sacrificed so much on a dream that so many thought was foolish. There were many nights, especially early on, when I found myself agreeing with the naysayers. Hopes evil twin, fear, would speak to me and say How foolish you are to do this. What were you thinking? It was at these difficult times that we challenged ourselves to find something, anything, that would give us hope. So as we plan our 5th year, I reflect, not on the success of one tiny business but on the hope of our shared human spirit. To the dreamers, whether your taking your first steps to a healthier life or building the future of the next Google, keep dreaming. Keep dreaming and never let fear win out over hope.
