To the Jews(or anyone else) who doesnt think that Yehoshua(Jesus) is he(the Messiah). Maybe its just me but Ive been around for a while and been around the block a few times, but until just recently I had never heard of the things which I now believe. Thank God for this internet age which puts all this information and opinion at our fingertips. No matter how much technology and dissertation is given rocks are hard and water is wet. Common sense and truth will always prevail and when someone goes to great lengths to tell me how the inert force of the suns energy bending the fabric of the matrix into whatever mumbo jumbo they are trying to assert, in the end one will equal one and three is three and 2 + 2 will always equal 4 no matter how much someone tries to tell me different. That being the case please give me a minute to show you that things are not always as you believe. The Jews are right and correct to question and even belittle the things which christianity asserts and until just a few years ago I asserted those very same things. Line upon line and precept upon precept the scales were removed from my eyes and the word of God becomes clearer and clearer to me with each passing day. Yes the claims of christianity are false or rather are more accurately obscuring the truth. Dont throw the baby out with the bathwater. I am going to list several points which are false and briefly show you that there is a truth behind every lie: 1) God Almighty False teaching: Jesus is God, Trinity, spirit of the Father(holy spirit) is a separate being. Truth: There is no prophesy neither fulfillment of a virgin birth Paul speaking: Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; Romans 1:3 John speaking For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 2 John 1:7 Yehoshua speaking: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 1:45 4) The Torah or the Law False teaching: The law has been done away with, nailed to the cross, given way to the gospel of grace Truth: Yehoshua is the fulfillment of the law: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Luke 23:38 Now as far as the written word itself and the testimony. Let me start with the scriptures, the old testament or Tanakh. They are the authority for all doctrine. They are the foundation of faith. They are the word of YEHOVAH. Are they perfect? Have they been perfectly preserved? No. In this age we have two choices: The Masorite text and the Septuagint. They are similar but they are not identical. However there is enough between them to discern the truth. Personally I use all available sources. KJV, JPS, And Septuagint are my normal readings. The testimony or new testament. It is obvious and undeniable that there are tens of thousands of extant texts and fragments with a variance in translation approaching hundreds of thousands of possibilities. However there is enough to discern the truth. We have to dig. Hunger and thirst after righteousness. The apostles warned even in their day that false doctrines were already creeping in to the faith once delivered to the saints: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 2 Peter 2:1,2 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
