To the atheists here, how do you stand it? I am an atheist now for a few years and am losing my mind. I try to reason with people about issues like religion, morality, politics, etc., but its as if there is no way to have a rational, factually based conversation. I am starving for conversation that expands my perception and causes personal growth. I am aware that I have cognitive biases, and I am trying to abate them as they become apparent. Its really hard mental work. And there doesnt seem to be a clear cut format for doing this. I have been deriving enormous comfort from the few atheist friends I have, but I am hungry for more. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
