To the moderators of Ukiah For Sale Or Trade: I recently responded to a post for bunk beds, went to look at them, and deposited $100 to secure the sale. The beds were posted by Saida Rivera. She also has other things posted. We agreed on price as well as the pick up time, the following Wednesday (this was Sunday). I was called into work early and asked to pick up the beds on Thursday morning, she said no problem. Thursday morning she informed me she sold the beds, still having my money, but she had another set exactly like it I could see. I was angry, but said OK as we were excited to get the beds. After seeing them on Thursday I said we would be back to pick them up by Friday at 11am. We were at her house at 10:30, her sister in law was there, and an older neighbor. When Saida Rivera was on the phone I asked two questions about the beds at which time she said she had other customers and she would mail my money to me or bring it to my house. At this point I realized Saida Rivera was a scam artist and trying to steal my $100. I demanded my money back now and she hung up on me. Fortunately her sister in law and neighbor were nice, even said she was no good. The older man paid me saying she would pay him. She flat out sold the bed I had put money down on, and I believe her game all along was to keep my $100. She should be immediately banned from this page. And to all others, buyer beware, Saida Rivera doesnt do honest business!
