To the people who argue that Electro just wanting to kill Spider-man for stealing the spotlight and just being a lame motivation to be a villain. Much like I analyzed the Superman vs Zod fight in MoS to show Supes wasnt responsible for the destruction, nor he caused peoples death during the fight. I shall do the same here. Electro mentions he has so much anger and dealing with what has happened to him. Spidey tries to talk with him and Electro clearly says he doesnt want police shooting at him. Spidey then says, No one shoots at Max, giving Electro the notion the police are taking orders from Spidey. They establish that when Electro walks on the grate, sparks fly. He causes a spark which leads to an officer shooting at him. This leads to Electro firing at people and Spiderman having to take down Electro. People cheer. The video is edited so it leaves out a sequence where Electro hears people cheer Spider-man and boo him with the music My Enemy with the lyrics...you lied to me, you shot at me... and as Electro sees Spidey on the big tron, hes mad that Spider-man set him up. He says that to Spidey and believes Spidey was going to take him off and keep being the hero. Thats what is going through his mind and the mood and music shows that perfectly.
