To the relatives, friends(Yes, still friends) and others that I reluctantly "unfriended" today: Please note that I still love, respect, and care for you all, however, the constant posting of some of the most hate-filled quick notes posing as political discourse is no longer acceptable. I realize that there are deep divides in this country, and I have come to the conclusion that these drive-by stonings by -either- extreme end of the political spectrum serve no purpose but to further divide this great Nation. It has been said, "Silence is acceptance." I refuse to remain silent any longer. I will eagerly discuss/debate just about any topic with the goal of learning what the viewpoint of the other person is and if it is thoughtful, reasoned, and takes account of the consequences of implementation. Until then, you all will just have to post your Nurenberg Rally posters somewhere else. My Love and Respect to you All.
