To the single and seeking... When someone you consider going into a relationship with looks into your life and either LAUGHS or YAWNS, they are BAD for you. In a relationship you are looking for COMPANIONSHIP, for CLOSENESS, for a comprehensive sense of INTIMACY (not just physical). If they smirk or look at the phone while you are trying to get to know them, thank God for the sign and WALK. Find someone who looks at you- warts, blemishes and all- and says, Wow. Someone who knows it wont always be easy and were it not for the grace of God sometimes youd kill each other- but says, Id like to walk this journey with you, if youll trust me with your heart and mind and we both trust God for the strength. I remember someone saying that the reason they were married is because everyone is busy trying to get as much done in the one lifetime they have that its easy to be forgotten. Being married means there is one person who wont let my life go unnoticed. Look for a friend. A companion. NB: They often dont look like they can compete for Miss Universe or be given a modelling contract at GQ magazine. You may need to be a lot more perceptive than to look at the exterior ONLY.
