To this sports writer..who happens to be british..I would say this..Stop comparing European soccer with US soccer..You cant compare the 2..American soccer fans like to have fun during games..Btw I feel a lot safer attending a MLS soccer game than attending a European soccer game..why? Because in America when you attend a MLS game, you mostly see kids (boys and girls), dads, and soccer moms:) while in Europe, you see 40-50 year old men (sometimes drunk) in soccer stadiums and you certainly dont want to bring your 4 yo kid in a soccer stadium because of the violence. And here is the kicker..the MLSs average attendances now rival those of the NHL and NBA, and TV ratings..
