To those of you who use Instagram!! Posting on here is the only way I can get the word out quick to a large audience quickly. Two days ago a user on Instagram liked a picture I posted. Upon further inspection I realised his profile picture was in fact a photo of me from one of my recent Deadpool photo shoots. The user took the photo without my permission to do so. I sent him a Follow request which he ignored for over 24 hours. Yet he unknowingly added one of my best mates immediately. When my friend asked him why he was using my pic as his profile picture he replied Im a fan of his cosplays, its because I like him. He then told my friend that I had blocked him and that if it was a problem hed remove the pic. Through my friend I told the user I wasnt actually that mad but it wasnt cool to take another cosplayers work and post it without either permission or at least tagging/crediting them. Suddenly I have been added to his Instagram. I can see all his pics. Turns out he took MY picture from my cosplay shoot 4 weeks ago and didnt let me know. I also cant post comments on his pictures... But I can look at them. I cant ask him to remove it... Nor does he seem to be giving me credit for my picture.... Guys if your an Instagram user its common curtsy to ASK or credit the cosplayer if you repost their work. He hasnt tried to make out that its his cosplay, but its principle.... Give credit where its due... Rant over, sorry guys...enjoy your evenings
