To those who I have heard say, it was an accident. Let it go. Your fight will not bring Brandon back. To you I say - The efforts of Craig and Sherry and the army behind them to make this world a safer place for YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN should be commended. Many people might have internalize this situation, keep it private, mourn the loss of their beloved child. Not The Ellingsons. Just as Brandon did, they are choosing to make the world a better place - share this story loudly, read painful details published about the incident as constant reminders, endure the extreme pain of never hearing Brandons voice again, all in a public forum because what happened to him simply SHOULD NOT HAVE. Craig Ellingson and Sherry Henrickson Ellingson, and their daughter Jenny are stellar human beings who I love, admire, and truly thank from the bottom of my heart. I think of them every single time I pick up the phone and hear Hi, Mom on the other end of the phone. We thank you both so much, our hearts cry for your loss, we miss Brandon immensely, and we admire your strength and incredible tenacity. Much love and support to you!! I will continue to channel my gratefulness for your persistence into whatever I can do to create change and hold those responsible.
