To update folks: we have not heard back from a single news outlet regarding the correspondence we sent expressing our concerns after the Indiana rabbit seizure. Sadly, this is as we thought it would be; however that incident which exposed rights violations of breeders in the increasing "rescue" climate as well as emphasising the threatening actions of innumerable animal rights activists and the often dubious practices of animal "rescues", has prompted many responsible breeders to band together in an effort to inform the public about the true nature of such matters. Please visit facebook/IDoNotNeedToBeRescued to receive information on responsible breeding, ethical animal husbandry, and traditional animal roles; all of which are still being practiced though the small majority of the nation seems to be poorly educated about and increasingly propogandized against them.
