To whom it may concern, I am certain beyond reasonable doubt that the powers that be know that the current energy supply is problematic to say the least. What I think you may not have realised is that it has become a vicious cycle. Let me explain my pedestrian terms, what i mean Dwindling power supply = dwindling productivity Dwindling productivity = dwindling revenue Dwindling revenue = dwindling taxes Dwindling taxes = dwindling government purse Dwindling government purse = unpaid salaries, no maintenance, bad healthcare, unpaid loans, MORE EXTERNAL BORROWING. These in turn mean government desires to tax the citizens more. Case in sight the ridiculous increase at the ex pump when the biggest influencing factors I.e. crude price and exchange rates have but dropped. At this point citizenry are unable to afford basic things, merger resources are spent on alternative energy which is expensive. All of these build up frustration which leads to strikes, demonstrations, business closures. The way I see it, from my lowly home managers perspective, you either get your act together or we are headed for the docks. My two cents from me to whom it may concern.
