To whom it may concern or should I say to who is willing to listen - TopicsExpress

To whom it may concern or should I say to who is willing to listen with a heart and help take action. My heart breaks every day because I have to watch my husband live in constant pain and when I say pain I mean physical pain and I mean the pain that just hurts your soul to the core, the pain that just won’t go away no matter how hard you try. I mean the mental pain of exhaustion. The thing that breaks my heart the most is NO ONE SEEMS TO WANT TO HELP US. My husband SFC Marc P Lare is a US. Veteran who fought and served to protect our rights as Americans like many people exercise in showing no compassion for these men and women who risk their lives overseas to only come home for the real daily hell to begin. What befouls me the most is that everyone thanks them for their service, but when it comes down to helping these men and women survive daily life or live life not in fear or pain, everyone seems to push it under the rug like it’s not reality that millions like my Husband go through as well as their families every day. My husband was injured overseas and suffers with PTSD; the VA does not seem to want to help with his medical issues or helping him receive a disability rating. The doctors don’t listen no one is listening to our cries for help. This is no way to live a life. PTSD is a family disease it affects the whole family and everyone who is close to the one who suffers with it, then you add physical pain on top of it and you have a recipe for a quality of life that feels like you are living in hell on a daily basis. My husband barley sleeps, eats, his mood swings change like the wind. He can’t sleep because he’s in pain and when he closes his eyes at night he relives what happened overseas. He can’t work or physically play with our son, because his body is messed up from the explosions and firefights he fought and thankfully he survived unlike so many others did not and the physical pain associated with damage to his body. He can’t eat much cause of the stress of the unknown and how we are going to survive, the stress that pain and PTSD play into the picture as well. He wakes up sick every morning. Those who are supposed to help our veterans are not doing their jobs. The VA is not helping, our government is not helping and the communities of these veterans are not helping. When do we say as an American people enough is enough and we take a stand and help those who help serve and protect us on a daily basis and give us our freedoms that we cherish and take for granted? I hope someone will read this and give us a helping hand. Thankfully even though we are struggling and living in agony that gets worse day by day I am stubborn enough to not give up on my family and I am willing to say enough is enough.
